Myatt’s Fields, Lambeth Council

Project Brief:

The brief that we received from Angela Li of the Lambeth Council Leisure and Parks Department was to completely refurbish the existing water play/splash-pad feature that was installed at Myatt’s Fields Park, one of Lambeth Councils 12 Green Flag Award-winning parks; which is located in Camberwell, South London.

Being an integral park of the local community, it was important that the refurbishment of all of the plantroom equipment that serviced the parks water play feature, was completed quickly and safely in the 2 week period allocated.

Method:

In August 2020, the AquaNeo team completely refurbished the plant room equipment operating the splash-pad. This included the supply and installation of new dosing equipment and sand filters, and the refurbishment of all the electrics in the plant room.

Result:

A much loved and used fun water play feature was back, up and running in a very short time period. Being enjoyed by the large local community in their much loved Myatt’s Fields Park.
